Big Gecko has been working with Rom Whitaker in Sri Lanka to encourage endemic conservation interest and research into mugger crocodile (Crocodylus palustris) populations. Here while examining mugger burrows dug into the banks of a river we discovered and catalogued a nest of fertile eggs. The eggs were replaced after they were counted and measured.
